Open Chassis
The AXIe Open Instrument / System
Development Chassis contains the
complete infrastructure for developing
AXIe-compatible systems and
instruments. In addition to the standard
AXIe features available on the
backplane, the addition of the System
Module provides functionality to develop
systems and instruments based
on the AXIe standard, including the
Shelf Manager for instrument
monitoring, control, and general FRU
support, as well as PCI Express
bridging, and test features like
triggering. The 14 available slots
provide ample
room for probing boards and for general
design validation of AXIe-compatible
instruments.

development environment, and a jump
